Responsibilities
- Support and improve the firm’s OpenShift Container Platform for scalability, reliability, and internal application team usability.
- Contribute to OpenShift technical roadmaps and evaluate infrastructure modernization approaches focused on risk mitigation and business continuity.
- Define platform standards for Infrastructure as Code, automation, and self-service capabilities.
- Develop and support infrastructure pipelines, Ansible playbooks, and Terraform modules across OCP and VMware hosting platforms.
- Design, build, and maintain Ansible Automation Platform workflows, playbooks, roles, and execution environments.
- Administer enterprise Linux/Unix environments, including configuration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management.
- Maintain infrastructure automation artifacts according to coding and release standards.
- Collaborate with Cloud and Core Infrastructure teams on secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Document solutions, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting OCP or Kubernetes in hybrid environments, including cluster operations and daily support.
- Strong understanding of containerization, security, and orchestration at scale.
- Enterprise Linux/Unix engineering experience covering configuration, hardening, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Practical experience with Ansible or Ansible Automation Platform, including playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
- Exposure to VMware or VCF-based private cloud platforms and integration with automation pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Interest in automation, infrastructure modernization, developer experience, and operator experience.
