Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, maintain, and upgrade software.
- Design scalable architectures and solve complex technical challenges.
- Improve the performance of existing software and investigate software-related complaints.
- Lead technical initiatives and oversee the technical aspects of projects.
- Mentor, train, and guide other engineers.
- Recommend technologies that improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence technical and product roadmaps.
- Document design decisions, share knowledge, and establish engineering best practices.
- Research and propose forward-thinking technical solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular.
- Extensive software development, scripting, and project management experience.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as New Relic and automated testing frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience building complex web systems and applying software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask.
