Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and modify core shaders, rendering code, and graphics systems.
- Create new rendering technologies and integrate third-party solutions.
- Optimize rendering performance and debug visual and performance issues.
- Create tools and efficient pipelines for content production.
- Translate concept art and art direction into technical rendering solutions.
- Collaborate with artists and multidisciplinary game-development teams on performant solutions.
- Keep current with industry trends and emerging rendering techniques.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of industry or related experience.
- Experience shipping at least one AAA console and/or PC game.
- Previous experience in a senior Graphics or Rendering Engineer role.
- Strong 3D math skills and C/C++ experience.
- Experience with modern GPUs and low-level graphics APIs on the latest-generation gaming platforms.
- Experience using graphics-debugging tools and performance-profiling tools.
- Familiarity with current Unreal Engine technology is desired.
- Exposure to Houdini, Substance Painter, and Z-Brush in graphics pipelines is a bonus.

- California base pay is listed at $108,900–$161,160 per year, with potential bonus and/or equity awards.
