Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and leadership to teams developing large-scale AI application deployment technologies.
- Design, build, test, and deliver core platform components for distributed systems infrastructure.
- Define the first version and future evolution of the service with product, engineering, and design partners.
- Shape architecture, conduct code reviews, and improve development practices and developer experience.
- Mentor engineers and own complex projects from conception through successful delivery.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building distributed systems and/or foundational cloud services at scale.
- Strong background building core components for high-scale compute and data distributed systems.
- Experience designing, writing, testing, debugging, and performance-tuning distributed or highly concurrent software.
- Strong foundation in computer science and experience maintaining large, long-lived codebases.
- Track record of identifying problems, implementing solutions, and delivering complex distributed-systems or database projects.
- Experience leading projects involving 15–20 people from conception to successful delivery.
- Interest in working with Python, Go, and Java.
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration platforms, or AI frameworks and tools is a bonus.
