Base Salary
$260k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect hyper-scalable infrastructure for exponential growth in API traffic and data volume
- Set the technical vision for resilient, secure, and performant microservices
- Lead the technical side of strategic partnerships and integrations with AWS Marketplace and enterprise SaaS providers
- Own enterprise trust capabilities including granular billing, residency controls, and auditability
- Establish platform standards for contracts, versioning, and security
- Build self-service tooling and automated quality gates that enable independent product-team deployments
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on high-scale distributed systems and API platform architecture
- Experience with modern cloud stacks and backend technologies
- Deep understanding of enterprise compliance, security, data residency, and third-party integration patterns
- Experience driving automated testing and operational discipline
- Ability to write RFCs, communicate technical strategy, and influence product managers and Staff engineers
- Interest in using and advocating for AI tools and AI-assisted engineering practices
