Responsibilities
- Architect and develop new software features used by thousands of end users.
- Build and deploy object-oriented services that run on Linux and Windows.
- Work on video camera integration, media transmission, storage, streaming, analytics configuration, firmware updates, and real-time video transformation.
- Participate in automated testing, task design and estimation, peer programming, and collaboration with developers and QA members.
- Interact with external partners to deliver shared solutions and manage work toward delivery deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming using C#/.NET or Java.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Clean Code principles.
- Preferred experience includes asynchronous and multithreaded development, TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, C/C++, process dump and performance analysis, large-scale distributed systems, REST or gRPC APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, video cameras, graphics cards, video codecs, streaming protocols, and FFmpeg.
