Base Salary

$178k - $313k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build mobile and desktop web applications and systems.
  • Implement user-facing features and UI components optimized for performance.
  • Contribute to shared libraries and engineering systems.
  • Log and analyze operational and engagement metrics.
  • Design and ship scalable services using high-velocity engineering workflows and AI tools.
  • Audit generated code for architectural integrity, performance bottlenecks, security risks, and production readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent practical work experience.
  • Six or more years of post-bachelor’s software development experience, or a relevant master’s degree with five or more years of post-graduate experience, or a relevant PhD with two or more years of post-graduate experience.
  • Experience with full stack web development.
  • High proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • High proficiency in Java, Golang, Node.js, or Python.
  • Experience with frontend software and JavaScript UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principles, domain-driven design, and unit testing.
  • Experience with frontend design, web application development, UI components, JavaScript performance, and browser layout rendering.
  • Ability to resolve performance and scalability issues.
  • Preferred experience with WebGL, Canvas, WebAssembly, service workers, GraphQL, large-scale microservices, distributed systems, NoSQL solutions, Memcache or Redis, Kubernetes, and Google or AWS services.
  • Ability to use AI tools while applying sound judgment to evaluate generated output for architecture, performance, and security.
