Base Salary

$96k - $182k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze systems to understand their operation and failure modes.
  • Disassemble and analyze binary code.
  • Develop exploits, implants, payloads, payload communication stacks, networking protocols, and communication schemes.
  • Perform reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, and software development.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve challenging problems and deliver actionable results.
  • Operationalize software through testing, documentation, and integration with other systems.
  • Participate in laboratory and field tests, data collection and analysis, capability testing, and demonstrations.
  • Travel overnight for certain projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics with 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Programming skills using C/C++ or Python.
  • Experience with assembly language such as x86/64, ARM, PPC, or MIPS.
  • Vulnerability research experience and reverse-engineering skills using IDA, Ghidra, or Binary Ninja.
  • Understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, wire-level protocols, BGP, or RF communications.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Top Secret security clearance before the start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include Capture the Flag experience, OS kernel development, network programming, hardware emulation, system architecture design, prototyping, technical project leadership, and active TS/SCI clearance.
