Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture
TELUS DigitalResponsibilities
- Lead scope definition, technical design, and work planning during pre-sales engagements.
- Present the company’s engineering capabilities to prospective clients.
- Lead technical architecture and discovery projects using consulting methods to refine client product and technical architecture.
- Own a technology vertical covering solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership.
- Provide architectural guidance and subject-matter expertise to existing project teams.
- Collaborate with delivery teams and client partners to execute technical visions.
- Support account expansion and help serve clients holistically across projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated cross-platform familiarity with expertise in one or more frontend, backend, cloud, data, content management, analytics, or third-party framework areas.
- Experience delivering software in an agency or client-services environment.
- Experience in commercial conversations involving budgets and fees.
- Experience with software estimation, work planning, and project-plan development under time and cost constraints.
- Ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience rapidly iterating and refining a product vision with clients while proposing multiple approaches.
- Ability to apply repeatable frameworks and modern practices to integrate new technologies or concepts.
- Comfort working in both pre-sales and post-sales environments, navigating ambiguity, and communicating clearly in writing and verbally.
- Interest in learning mobile software development principles and understanding the broader client business beyond a single project.
- Bonus: experience with Amazon Connect, Zendesk CCaaS, Google CES, Five9, Genesys CCaaS, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform, Vertex AI, MLOps, Docker, or Kubernetes.
