Responsibilities
- Write and review portions of specifications for simple software system components.
- Implement development processes and coding best practices and participate in code reviews under senior-level guidance.
- Work in various development environments and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Complete simple bug fixes and apply test-driven development knowledge.
- Gather and analyze requirements for software development projects.
- Resolve basic technical issues and stay current with technology developments.
- Apply foundational knowledge of software development methodologies, data manipulation languages, data modeling, and development languages.
Requirements
- Graduate by August 2027 to be considered.
- Have completed or be completing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be proficient in development technologies including Java/J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, and .NET.
- Be familiar with software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Have knowledge of data manipulation languages, data modeling principles, and test-driven development.
- Have the ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
