Responsibilities
- Technically lead SAP Business AI Platform initiatives, promoting modern architecture, reuse, and scalability.
- Develop and modernize cloud-native applications using APIs and digital services.
- Drive adoption of artificial intelligence, SAP Joule, intelligent agents, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with global teams to identify innovation and digital transformation opportunities.
- Define development standards, best practices, quality practices, and security approaches.
- Promote automation, DevSecOps, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze complex technical issues, resolve critical problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Mentor developers and contribute to the technical growth of the organization.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency sufficient to conduct meetings, negotiate, argue points, and deliver training.
- Solid experience with object-oriented software development and solution architecture.
- Experience with SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and application development in the SAP ecosystem.
- Experience integrating, extending, and modernizing SAP solutions using APIs, events, and cloud-native technologies.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, microservices, and distributed application development.
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native development.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and software quality.
- Ability to technically lead initiatives and influence decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI Agents, or SAP Joule is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or modern development technologies is preferred.
- SAP or related technology certifications, digital transformation experience, global enterprise platform experience, and experience in multicultural distributed teams are preferred.
- Availability for a hybrid work model three days per week and occasional travel of up to 10%.
