Base Salary
$109k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support for application systems.
- Develop and implement new or revised applications and programs using Java and related technologies.
- Monitor and control development processes and provide user and operational support to business users.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and assess system usage and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups, and install or assist with customer-facing systems.
- Define operating standards and processes and advise or coach newer analysts.
- Assess technology and business risks, follow applicable policies and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java core concepts, including object-oriented programming, collections, and concurrency.
- Expertise with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
- Experience with database technologies, SQL, and object-relational mapping frameworks.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Familiarity with Git and strong problem-solving, debugging, SQL querying, and data-manipulation skills.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, Kafka, Spark, and CI/CD pipelines is desired.
- Python programming experience for data analysis is desired.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.

- Salary range of $109,120.00 to $163,680.00 per year.
