Responsibilities

  • Architect and evolve large-scale systems while defining and driving a technical vision and roadmap.
  • Adapt system designs to changing requirements while maintaining scalability, performance, and stability.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and set engineering standards.
  • Design, build, and maintain tools, applications, libraries, and plugins for game content creation.
  • Own tools through requirements, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify bottlenecks and develop technical solutions to improve workflows and productivity.
  • Conduct code and technical reviews and evaluate new technologies for team use.
  • Coordinate and estimate work to support planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Contribute hands-on as an individual contributor while supporting project and studio goals.

Requirements

  • History of developing pipelines from initial concept to shipping content.
  • Ability to minimize redundancy through clean, API-first design principles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ten to fifteen years of experience in game development or a related industry is preferred.
  • Preferred experience with build systems and build pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of WPF is preferred.
  • Previous game development experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the workflow needs of different departments is preferred.
