Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art algorithms in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Provide software specifications and production code to meet project milestones.
- Support algorithm proliferation through customer-facing activities at customer sites.
- Integrate algorithms into large systems while considering hardware and software aspects.
- Collaborate with algorithm development, applications, systems, physics, software, and qualification groups to understand customer requirements and system constraints.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of industrial experience as an algorithm developer.
- Strong theoretical foundation and hands-on experience in computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
- Thorough understanding of probability and statistics.
- Development experience in Python.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to travel abroad; the posting separately states 5% in the requirements and 10% in the additional information.
- Theoretical and hands-on experience in image processing and deep learning is advantageous.
- Understanding of imaging systems and physics is advantageous.
- Good communication skills and moderate English proficiency.
