Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications, services, and reusable modules.
- Design, build, and integrate REST APIs connecting internal and external business systems.
- Process, transform, and validate data from APIs, JSON, CSV, and databases.
- Write scalable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and development standards improvement.
- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, logging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams.
- Support source code management, deployment processes, CI/CD practices, and Docker-based application maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Three to five years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with pytest or unittest, debugging, logging, and code quality practices.
- Practical experience with Git and understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, ownership, and learning abilities.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Pandas, NumPy, ETL, data integration, Docker, workflow orchestration tools, cloud technologies, and Agile/Scrum environments.
