Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect backend systems to orchestrate AI workflows and manage data pipelines.
- Build enterprise data integrations from various sources into a unified platform.
- Integrate AI capabilities into production to enhance research workflows.
- Drive technical direction and make architectural decisions.
- Own systems from architecture to production, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Optimize database queries and API response times for enterprise demands.
- Set standards for engineering quality through comprehensive testing and monitoring.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of software engineering experience with production applications.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python or Node.js, API design, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Experience designing and scaling distributed systems.
- Familiarity with large datasets, ETL pipelines, and analytics infrastructure.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs.
- A user-focused product mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; financial services experience is a plus.
