Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and operate secure containerized platforms in classified and air-gapped environments.
- Develop and optimize production CI/CD pipelines and author Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration automation.
- Administer production Kubernetes clusters, including lifecycle management and day-two operations.
- Embed security, observability, and reliability into cloud-native delivery platforms, including support for STIG automation and RMF or ATO processes.
- Mentor active-duty military personnel and government civilians through technical coaching, exchanges, and labs.
- Prototype and evaluate AI-enabled capabilities, including LLM API integrations, RAG workflows, automation assistants, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT, systems, or software engineering experience and at least 3 years of DevOps or DevSecOps experience building and operating production CI/CD pipelines.
- Production Kubernetes administration experience, including cluster lifecycle management and day-two operations.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Linux administration, RHEL or Ubuntu, Python, Bash, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
- Experience supporting DoD or intelligence-community regulated environments, including STIG automation, RMF or ATO processes, and air-gapped constraints.
- Experience with basic AI prototyping, LLM APIs, RAG workflows, automation assistants, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
- TS/SCI clearance, HS diploma or GED, and DoD 8140 or 8570 IAT Level II certification such as Security+ CE.
- Preferred experience includes Platform One, Big Bang, Iron Bank, Kessel Run, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch, Istio, ArgoCD, Flux, Harbor, Nautobot, NetBox, Cisco automation, ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Agile delivery, cloud certifications, CKA, CKS, RHCSA, RHCE, Terraform Associate, GitLab CI, or CISSP certifications.
