Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enhancements and new features, producing technical solutions that receive positive design and code review feedback.
- Apply fulfillment systems domain knowledge to communicate requirements, system constraints, and proposals with cross-team stakeholders.
- Translate ambiguous business problems and underspecified requirements into concrete technical designs.
- Lead projects independently, including project planning, task estimation, collaboration, and execution.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and direct guidance.
- Identify and streamline engineering processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 3 years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
