- Own and improve Connect infrastructure for uptime, performance, secure credential and key storage, and developer experience.
- Propose and implement authentication and authorization protocols for agent applications.
- Build event forwarding with inbound signature verification and project-scoped outbound identity routed to the correct deployment and environment.
- Extend SDKs, consent-redirect flows, and framework adapters to simplify agent credential access.
- Reduce integration development costs by making new providers configurable rather than requiring custom code.
- Work directly with teams building on Connect and turn their feedback into platform improvements.

- Deep practical understanding of OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, JWTs, authorization codes, PKCE, refresh semantics, audience and scope restrictions, and token exchange.
- Experience identifying or fixing integration security issues such as SSRF, DNS rebinding, confused-deputy and mix-up attacks, redirect-URI validation problems, webhook signature issues, and tenant-isolation vulnerabilities.
- Strong TypeScript skills and comfort developing backend and frontend components.
- Experience integrating with many third-party APIs, including undocumented behavior, non-compliant OAuth implementations, and inconsistent errors.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, ship incrementally across a broad platform surface, and communicate clearly with teams building on the platform.
- Experience or interest in using agents and AI in development workflows.
- Preferred experience operating an OAuth authorization server, identity provider, or multi-tenant integrations platform.
- Preferred experience with MCP, agent tool-calling, delegated access, consent patterns, integration marketplaces, partner engineering, or webhook infrastructure at scale.
- Open-source contributions in authentication, Next.js, or agent tooling ecosystems are a bonus.
