Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and document software architecture and concepts for technical and non-technical requirements.
- Ensure software scalability, efficiency, and usage across global products.
- Align the CI/CD toolchain with internal and external stakeholders.
- Research solutions and best practices within and outside the automotive industry.
- Debug functional and non-functional issues, identify root causes, and provide resolutions.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, across global teams.
- Organize software development processes across the driver experience domain.
- Coach and mentor team members and colleagues from development methodology through execution.
- Create documentation, reports, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- 5–7 years of software development experience is required.
- Expertise in software development and embedded software development using agile methods.
- Experience with Android, Kanzi, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures and solving complex problems through root-cause analysis.
- Strong communication, analytical, logical-thinking, problem-solving, coordination, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work amid ambiguity and ongoing change; an attached resume is required.
- Preferred qualifications include several years of Daimler Truck HMI software development, familiarity with Daimler Truck HMI platform development processes, and experience engineering Daimler Truck products.
Benefits
- Starting salary range of $117,000–$150,000 USD, dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Annual bonus program and 401(k) contributions, including company matching up to 6% and a non-elective contribution of 3–7% depending on age.
