Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test and inspection software primarily using Python.
- Build tools for real-time data collection, visualization, and analysis.
- Integrate sensors, cameras, motion controllers, and other hardware into automated testing workflows.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on physical test fixtures.
- Partner with product development, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.
Requirements
- An MSc in Software, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field is required.
- Top-level Python programming skills, including automation frameworks, hardware communication protocols, and data processing, are required.
- Experience developing automated test systems, measurement setups, or manufacturing automation tools is required.
- Familiarity with Git and structured software development practices is required.
- Comfort with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Onshape is required.
- Comfort performing soldering, wiring, and small-scale electrical circuit work is required.
- Strong problem-solving, practical engineering design, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills are required.
