Base Salary
$175k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for deploying software into operational environments.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines across multiple deployment environments and classification levels.
- Support cloud toolsets and configure, maintain, and monitor Kubernetes clusters and pod configurations.
- Improve developer productivity, application performance, security monitoring, alerting, reliability, and compliance with Department of Defense standards.
- Coordinate with corporate IT and customer environments to maintain reliable team infrastructure toolsets.
- Coach team members on DevOps practices, lead engineering teams, and improve development processes.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of work experience.
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline automation; AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Ansible or Chef; Docker or Podman; and Kubernetes management solutions such as EKS or Rancher.
- Experience deploying and monitoring Kubernetes clusters and pod configurations, with basic Linux system administration knowledge.
- Knowledge of Python, Linux Shell, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret clearance, an advanced degree, experience with web-service stacks, Jira, GitOps tools, artifact repositories, code analysis tools, and Agile/Scrum team leadership.
- Current Security+ certification is preferred.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to San Diego, Denver, Arlington, or Boston.
