Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement ServiceNow application modules, workflows, catalog requests, and custom applications.
- Define data tables, user interfaces, business logic, and application functionality within ServiceNow.
- Develop and maintain third-party integrations using scripted REST APIs, SOAP, and related web service tools.
- Configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, UI elements, and platform modules including ITSM, CMDB, asset management, and change management.
- Manage multiple ServiceNow instances, major releases, patches, SDLC release processes, and code deployments.
- Maintain consistency across development, staging, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot production problems involving custom applications, system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support and contribute to continuous process, standards, and tooling improvements.
- Estimate work efforts and assist with evaluating application software packages, integration tools, and testing tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow development platform and modules such as ITSM, contract management, resource management, ITFM, CMDB, asset management, change management, custom development, Service Portal, and CSM.
- Experience developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Data Policies, UI Actions, and table extensions in ServiceNow.
- Experience with ServiceNow version upgrades, application rollout, configuration changes, and platform release management.
- Experience developing ServiceNow functionality and user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Proficiency with SOAP UI or comparable tools for testing SOAP and REST web service APIs.
- Working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ServiceNow Administrator certification is suggested; ServiceNow micro-certifications, Implementation Specialist certification, or Application Developer certification are advantageous.
