Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise business and technical stakeholders on infrastructure modernization and VMware Cloud Foundation adoption.
- Design integrated solutions spanning compute, storage, networking, security, automation, and operations.
- Lead architecture workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution validation.
- Support technical sales by developing proposals, responding to technical requirements, and explaining solution value.
- Develop future-state architectures and adoption roadmaps for workload migration and platform expansion.
- Collaborate with professional services, systems integrators, partners, and customer teams during implementation.
- Document assumptions, dependencies, risks, and design decisions while maintaining architectural alignment.
- Share customer feedback and requirements with product management and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience in enterprise solutions architecture, technical consulting, or technical sales with a strong virtualization and private-cloud background.
- Strong knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and core technologies including Sphere, VSAN, and NSX.
- Understanding of infrastructure automation, operational management, networking, storage, disaster recovery, and security architecture.
- Ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical solution designs.
- Experience leading customer workshops, technical evaluations, and architecture discussions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Relevant VMware certification, particularly VCP-VCF Architect, or equivalent demonstrated expertise is preferred.
- Experience with VCF Automation and VCF Operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with VMware Kubernetes capabilities, VMware Defend, Avi Load Balancer, or Private AI is preferred.
- A degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
