Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into precise specifications, technical plans, acceptance criteria, and task breakdowns.
- Use AI coding agents to implement features and review, test, and refine generated code.
- Own features end to end across backend services, APIs, and integrations through production.
- Define automated unit and integration tests and test-first validation for AI-generated code.
- Maintain project context files, coding standards, reusable prompts, and templates.
- Review AI-generated and human-written code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Improve the team’s spec-driven workflow, tooling, and CI/CD practices.
- Participate in daily standups and technical discussions with the US-based client team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Hands-on daily experience using AI coding agents as a core development workflow.
- Practical experience with spec-driven development, such as writing specifications, plans, or structured requirements for AI-generated implementation.
- Strong backend experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go, REST APIs, and SQL databases, or equivalent full-stack experience including React or a similar modern frontend framework.
- Strong testing discipline covering unit testing, integration testing, and test-first practices.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, code review, CI/CD, and deployment to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent written and spoken English, particularly for specifications and documentation.
- Preferred experience with LLM-powered features such as RAG, agents, or tool calling; team AI development tooling; data-heavy or SaaS platforms; security, threat intelligence, or trust and safety; Docker, Kubernetes, or infrastructure as code; or US-based clients and distributed teams.
