Base Salary
$104k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications incorporating generative AI capabilities.
- Integrate LLMs, AI services, APIs, MCP servers, tools, data sources, and business systems.
- Develop and maintain web APIs, backend services, and SQL solutions for application functionality, system integration, and data exchange.
- Use AWS, Microsoft cloud services, and AI platforms to develop, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications.
- Evaluate and incorporate new AI models, platform capabilities, and technologies.
- Write technical specifications and maintainable code, perform unit testing, and troubleshoot application integrations.
- Collaborate with analysts, UI/UX developers, subject-matter experts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Follow standards for security, configuration management, change control, documentation, quality assurance, and release management.
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant web development or software development experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Experience developing, testing, and supporting web applications with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, C#/.NET, and Bootstrap.
- Experience developing or integrating generative AI applications, LLM-powered interfaces, AI assistants, or other AI-enabled solutions.
- Knowledge of AI terminology and integration approaches.
- Experience developing or integrating web APIs, backend services, or application interfaces.
- Experience using AWS and/or Microsoft cloud services for cloud application development, deployment, monitoring, and support.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, software development practices, coding standards, and application security.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate system dependencies, work independently, take ownership, learn new technologies, and adapt to changing requirements.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired.
- Preferred experience includes MS Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, MCP servers, multiple LLM or AI service integrations, prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, Python, containerized or serverless applications, AWS Lambda, ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, and DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
- CompTIA Security+ certification and familiarity with Agile methodologies are desired.
