Responsibilities
- Lead a software engineering team in developing efficient, effective, production-ready software solutions.
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
- Analyze current and future architecture and operating environments to guide solution design.
- Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications.
- Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Mentor or supervise employees in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance.
- Identify and implement system improvements while helping the team adopt new tools and techniques.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
- 10+ years of software development experience using programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
- Experience with Python coding, source-code development, client requirements, workflow automation, and employee mentoring or supervision.
- Experience with Agile methods, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products.
- Ability to work with automated testing tools.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an engineering field.
- Preferred experience with containerization tools and techniques and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, or similar tools.
- Preferred master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related engineering field; doctorate is a plus.
