Base Salary
$170k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, deploy, and sustain enterprise web applications using Java, Angular, and modern web technologies.
- Develop responsive user interfaces, backend services, database components, RESTful web services, and enterprise application interfaces.
- Analyze requirements and create software designs addressing functional, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability objectives.
- Design and implement database interfaces using JDBC, ODBC, or comparable technologies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
- Perform peer reviews, software testing, quality assurance, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, architects, and mission stakeholders across the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced software engineers across multiple programs.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to application performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is required.
- 11+ years of software engineering experience is required.
- Expert experience developing enterprise web applications with Java and Angular is required.
- Experience with Agile Scrum or SAFe development environments, Git, Jenkins, DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and continuous delivery is required.
- Experience developing RESTful web services and enterprise APIs is required.
- Experience designing database interfaces with JDBC, ODBC, or comparable technologies is required.
- Experience working in Linux development environments is required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
- Experience with microservices or micro frontend architectures, AWS, infrastructure automation, Terraform or other IaC technologies, distributed data architectures, enterprise integration patterns, REST and SOAP web services, and government architecture review or governance processes is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
