Responsibilities
- Define architecture and develop new software features using .NET and C#.
- Design and implement common APIs, high-availability databases, and integrations.
- Continuously integrate, build, test, and deploy solutions from test systems to production.
- Develop and optimize scalable, stable, secure, and efficient software running in containerized and on-premises environments.
- Make architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems and user interfaces.
- Conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, prototyping, build-versus-buy evaluations, and total-cost-of-ownership assessments.
- Monitor technical developments and propose improvements using efficient algorithms and modern software tools.
- Guide, assist, coach, and mentor junior team members on software engineering practices and Secure SDLC.
- Advise product owners on feasibility and estimates for new functionality.
- Communicate with customers to analyze and resolve product defects and support major implementations.
Requirements
- University degree in information technology, computer science and engineering, or a related subject.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Mandatory knowledge of .NET/C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including local work with Docker Desktop.
- Experience with a unit testing framework.
- Experience making architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems and integrations with applications and user interfaces.
- Knowledge of Secure SDLC principles, OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and remediation, and threat modeling.
- Experience with feasibility studies, proofs-of-concept, prototyping, build-versus-buy evaluations, and total cost of ownership.
- Understanding of clean code and design patterns for object-oriented programming.
- Experience with parallel programming, test automation, network communications, or digital certificates/PKI is desirable.
- Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Copilot and with end-user computing or software asset management is a plus.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
