Responsibilities

Define architecture and develop new software features using .NET and C#.
Design and implement common APIs, high-availability databases, and integrations.
Continuously integrate, build, test, and deploy solutions from test systems to production.
Develop and optimize scalable, stable, secure, and efficient software running in containerized and on-premises environments.
Make architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems and user interfaces.
Conduct feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, prototyping, build-versus-buy evaluations, and total-cost-of-ownership assessments.
Monitor technical developments and propose improvements using efficient algorithms and modern software tools.
Guide, assist, coach, and mentor junior team members on software engineering practices and Secure SDLC.
Advise product owners on feasibility and estimates for new functionality.
Communicate with customers to analyze and resolve product defects and support major implementations.

University degree in information technology, computer science and engineering, or a related subject.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Mandatory knowledge of .NET/C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with Docker and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including local work with Docker Desktop.
Experience with a unit testing framework.
Experience making architectural decisions for large-scale distributed systems and integrations with applications and user interfaces.
Knowledge of Secure SDLC principles, OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and remediation, and threat modeling.
Experience with feasibility studies, proofs-of-concept, prototyping, build-versus-buy evaluations, and total cost of ownership.
Understanding of clean code and design patterns for object-oriented programming.
Experience with parallel programming, test automation, network communications, or digital certificates/PKI is desirable.
Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Copilot and with end-user computing or software asset management is a plus.
Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
