Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve BlaBlaCar Backoffice services.
- Maintain claim management and reporting features on the BlaBlaCar platform.
- Own substantial features from technical design through implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Improve code quality and mentor engineers through detailed code reviews.
- Document solutions and ensure APIs and services are understood by consumer teams.
Requirements
- Solid experience working in companies with strong engineering cultures and growth contexts.
- Strong knowledge of Java and its ecosystem, with solid software architecture foundations.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog.
- Significant production experience building, deploying, and operating backend microservices.
- Product-oriented mindset with a focus on business impact.
- Ability to make technical choices and balance business needs with technical constraints.
