Base Salary
$125k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate scalable backend software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Analyze system requirements and customize applications for optimal functionality.
- Participate in software updates, releases, deployments, testing, and application integration.
- Build and maintain APIs, support tools, and ad-serving systems for programmatic advertising operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in software applications and systems.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, operational excellence, reliability, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to verify software quality and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and support a culture of technical excellence and shared knowledge.
- Conduct training for operational staff and use market research and industry trends to inform product and project strategies.
- Work a regular, punctual schedule that may include nights, weekends, and variable hours as necessary.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with Python and Django.
- Experience creating and developing APIs using Django.
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS, including owning production deployments at scale for critical backend services.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant work experience of 7–10 years is listed.
- AdTech industry experience is preferred.
