Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build high-scale, low-latency distributed systems for IAM services.
- Design and implement customer-facing and internal APIs and backend services.
- Optimize system performance for high availability under unpredictable loads.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the team's strategy and roadmap.
- Participate in on-call rotations and build automated monitoring tools.
- Embrace best practices in software engineering and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining backend services.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, TypeScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API design.
- Fluency in observability best practices including logging and alerting.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Commitment to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ownership of code quality and performance.
- Experience with security best practices in authentication and authorization.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
