Responsibilities
- Design and deliver identity capabilities across telemetry ingestion, normalization, enrichment, analytics, detection, findings, and observability.
- Build systems that help customers discover, monitor, understand, and protect human and non-human identities.
- Define models for AI agents, service accounts, workloads, OAuth integrations, tokens, and machine identities.
- Lead complex engineering initiatives, technical strategy, architecture and code reviews, and cross-team technical decisions.
- Correlate identity signals with network, cloud, and SaaS telemetry to identify activity that isolated controls may miss.
- Partner with security research, product management, data, cloud, SRE, field, and customer teams.
- Mentor engineers and help develop technical leadership across the team.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience building and operating production software systems.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, architecture, coding, and technical problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and influence decisions beyond the immediate team.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, credentials, tokens, privileged access, and modern identity systems.
- Expertise in AI agents, machine identities, workload identities, service accounts, non-human identities, or related identity-security problems.
- Practical understanding of how AI agents and automated systems are built, deployed, authenticated, and permissioned.
- Experience building reliable, observable cloud-based services.
- Strong judgment balancing engineering quality, security, technical debt, customer needs, and business priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and improve team effectiveness.
- Preferred: knowledge of Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC, SaaS identity ecosystems, workload identity, secrets, or machine-to-machine authentication.
- Preferred: experience securing AI agents or autonomous systems, behavioral analytics, detection engineering, anomaly detection, high-volume security telemetry, or cybersecurity products.
