Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including user-story review, design, development, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Develop new functionality for the Platform Product Development team using frontend and backend technologies.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and colleagues to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Establish engineering excellence within the team and continuously improve development practices.
  • Manage quality assurance, refactor existing code, and research tools and frameworks for future innovation.
  • Build unit and integration tests and help the Scrum team meet its definition of done each sprint.

Requirements

  • Over three years of practical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, Angular, and Node.js.
  • Over two years of direct experience with .NET technologies, particularly C# and Microsoft .NET.
  • Experience with Webpack, NX, Angular CLI, responsive and accessible web applications, NGRX, and browser performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and principles including OOP and SOLID, along with practical software development practices such as TDD and BDD.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services, infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture, plus CI/CD and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with peer reviews, SonarQube, software testing methodologies, unit tests, and integration tests using tools such as Selenium, NUnit, Jasmine, or Jest.
  • Proficiency with Git and practical experience developing cloud-based applications in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound technical judgment, and experience working with international and culturally diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of VS Code extensions, Electron-based applications, and SQL databases is desirable; FinTech experience is also desirable.
