Base Salary
$206k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Zelle’s migration to the cloud and drive enterprise cloud architecture, technology decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Own enterprise-level initiatives involving coding, system design, security considerations, infrastructure architecture, scaling, roadmaps, estimates, and collaborative design.
- Design and deliver scalable distributed application solutions using incremental production releases.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, data, operations, executives, vendors, and external financial-institution partners.
- Coach and mentor engineers and leaders, support hiring, and foster a high-performing engineering organization.
- Ensure software development follows quality, security, scalability, audit, service-level, and organizational engineering standards.
- Keep executive management informed of departmental progress and problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 10 years leading technology initiatives or processes.
- 5+ years working with large-scale cloud systems and building application solutions using containerization, CI/CD, automated testing, and security guidelines.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across large-scale system designs, upgrades, and releases.
- Strong leadership, management, business acumen, mentoring, communication, ownership, urgency, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with enterprise-scale systems, cloud environments, distributed applications, operating systems, database systems, computer networking, security, architecture, and design concepts.
- Experience with large-scale operations in Amazon Web Services and migrating application and data services from on-premises environments to the cloud is preferred.
- Must pass a background and drug screen.
