Base Salary
$223k - $279k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering during product design and development to implement secure features and conduct security reviews.
- Build agentic security tooling and workflows to identify and address code problems across the codebase.
- Define and build application security guardrails so developers can build securely by default.
- Audit current products and surface vulnerabilities.
- Assist with incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security reviews, and other security operations.
- Help establish and scale Headway’s dedicated product and application security engineering efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security and/or software engineering, with demonstrated security-related project or security generalist experience.
- Experience building secure platforms and products with strong technical depth and breadth.
- Experience or interest in security design reviews and code reviews.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with product and engineering teams.
- Interest in applying AI and agentic workflows to product security.
- Ability to work effectively on ambiguous problems and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
