Base Salary
$139k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale software development efforts and serve as a development lead for medium and large projects.
- Provide architectural guidance and conduct design reviews for Agile and Plan of Record projects.
- Conduct code reviews for Next Gen Architecture projects and promote reusable design patterns.
- Guide teams on system efficiency, performance, scalability, resource usage, and long-term technical strategy.
- Collaborate with business owners, TPMs, engineering managers, SDEs, and other stakeholders to manage risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery decisions.
- Mentor and coach SDEs and engineering teams while promoting best practices and broader adoption of technology standards.
- Track and communicate metrics for design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and design-pattern adoption.
- Support compliance, risk management, issue escalation, and transparent reporting of control matters.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in application development or senior-level enterprise architecture experience with subject matter expertise in one or more areas.
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Expertise in technology patterns and techniques across internal and external cloud platforms, including AWS, PCF, and Akamai.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Experience leading, architecting, and driving adoption across teams and organizations.
- Knowledge of automating code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD environments.
- Understanding of Next Gen Architecture, enterprise design patterns, software development lifecycle practices, and financial-industry technology considerations.
