Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software as part of an NCRC product scrum team.
- Resolve open program problem reports associated with the designated product team.
- Create unit tests and support integration testing efforts.
- Maintain and modify program baseline architectures.
- Provide occasional development guidance to junior software developers.
- Support cyber-range capability assessments, evaluations, and technology prototypes.
- Provide remote-site support for setup, configuration, and delivery activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree focused on computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics.
- At least two years of related proven experience performing similar duties.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C/C++, PowerShell, and bash, with experience using Linux-based operating systems.
- Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and databases including MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems.
- Familiarity with SVN and Git, controlled engineering baselines, enterprise IT architectures, and project logistics.
- Ability to communicate technical and programmatic issues effectively and work within teams.
- Preferred qualifications include a related master’s degree or five or more years of related experience, platform development experience, enterprise infrastructure and domain-services experience, virtualization and containerization experience, software-defined networking, network protocols, user simulator technologies, and DevSecOps tools.
- U.S. citizenship, Secret security clearance, and ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance are required.
