Base Salary
$112k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement reliable, high-throughput, low-latency, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other partners to propose extensible, reusable, and performant solutions.
- Experiment with relevant technologies and develop proofs of concept.
- Analyze and solve issues independently as an individual contributor.
- Troubleshoot and fix problems in lower and production environments.
- Write unit and component tests to support high-quality software delivery.
- Monitor applications and proactively improve production run quality.
- Work within a scrum team and provide daily updates.
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience and three years of software engineering, analysis, and design experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- At least three years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, SQL, AroraDB, MongoDB, complex SQL queries, scalable distributed applications, and web services.
- Exposure to GraphQL and graph databases.
- At least three years of experience with internet technologies and microservices architectures.
- At least three years of experience developing cloud-native applications, preferably in AWS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Splunk SPLs, AppDynamics, OTEL, and Grafana monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field, or related equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience in commerce, products, pricing, or inventory domains.
