Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for software applications and systems.
- Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex software systems.
- Manage execution and delivery of features and projects while negotiating priorities and deadlines.
- Participate in design reviews and architectural design for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
- Review code, provide technical feedback, and uphold coding and maintainability standards.
- Build testable software and automate tests using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
- Maintain service health and quality, investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence.
- Own software delivery from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance.
- Document features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in Java, React, and SQL.
- Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
- Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Preferred familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and test automation frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge of agile development methodologies and accessible technology development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Benefits
- The pay range is $102,300 to $147,050 in base pay, varying by skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and work location.
