Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy web applications and microservices tailored to Pharma Technical Development requirements.
- Implement assigned features, troubleshoot issue reports, participate in peer code reviews, and communicate technical risks or blockers.
- Communicate with feature owners, technical leads, and end users to clarify requirements and provide task updates.
- Integrate internal platforms and contribute to software solutions supporting clinical pipeline and manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical feasibility assessments, contribute to requirement refinement, and suggest system improvements.
- Pursue technical training and certifications and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, internal communities, CoEs, and CoPs.
Requirements
- Experience contributing to software engineering projects focused on designing and deploying software solutions.
- Ability to deliver tasks reliably within a structured team environment and execute an independent development plan.
- Understanding of software validation, testing practices, and regulatory frameworks such as GxP.
- Skills with modern backend and frontend technologies such as Python, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Practical experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases using SQL, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and Git.
- Understanding of system architecture, automated unit testing, debugging, code documentation, and component interactions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, empathy, and ability to support product decisions with technical feasibility assessments.
- Prior pharma or biotech experience is advantageous.
