Responsibilities
- Build, design, implement, and ship software that solves real user problems across healthcare product areas.
- Work across the stack on marketplace, practice management, clinical tools, and patient data integration systems.
- Own product features end-to-end from conception through deployment within autonomous teams.
- Apply strong problem-solving, software engineering, and systems-thinking skills to build simple, maintainable solutions.
- Experiment with AI coding tools, agents, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Collaborate across services and teams, contribute to internal open-source culture, and engage with users to understand their needs.
Requirements
- Strong foundations in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, complexity, and core software engineering principles.
- Ability to build real software and work across the stack to ship features.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into effective solutions.
- Builder mindset, ownership of outcomes, curiosity about users, and high learning velocity.
- Interest in experimenting with AI coding tools, agents, and new software development workflows.
- Preferred: academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another rigorous technical discipline.
- Preferred: competitive programming experience, including ICPC, Google Code Jam, national olympiads, Codeforces, or similar competitions.
- Preferred: side projects, startups, open-source contributions, hackathons, or shipped products.
- Preferred: exposure to collaborative development, continuous delivery, observability, and AI-assisted development practices.
