Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python applications, Java applications, APIs, reusable components, reporting solutions, and integration services.
  • Create and enhance SAP BusinessObjects reports, analyze report logic and business rules, and support migration to modern reporting platforms.
  • Build and optimize Oracle SQL queries, data extraction workflows, reporting data models, validation controls, and reconciliation processes.
  • Develop AI-enabled utilities, agents, automation workflows, RAG implementations, Copilot-based solutions, and AI integrations with enterprise applications.
  • Implement REST-based integrations connecting core banking platforms, data warehouses, reporting tools, and downstream consumers.
  • Write automated unit and integration tests and participate in design discussions, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
  • Investigate and resolve application, reporting, data, and production issues, including incident analysis and root-cause investigation.
  • Support deployments, releases, production monitoring, operational controls, technical documentation, and reporting modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, subject-matter experts, senior engineers, and development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–5 years of software development experience, including practical Python, Java, reporting technology, SQL, and relational database experience.
  • Experience or exposure to SAP BusinessObjects development or enterprise reporting.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, REST APIs, enterprise integrations, Linux/Unix, Git, and source control.
  • Understanding of software engineering, object-oriented programming, testing, troubleshooting, and data validation principles.
  • Foundational knowledge or strong interest in AI/ML concepts, LLM integration, AI agents, automation workflows, or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Preferred experience includes FLEXCUBE, financial services, core banking platforms, Spring Boot, Pandas, AutoSys, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Kafka, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Azure AI, OpenAI services, RAG, vector search, Copilot Studio, AI governance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
