Base Salary
$202k - $303k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable generative models, with emphasis on diffusion models, for autonomous vehicle behavior modeling.
- Model distributions of future behaviors for autonomous vehicles and other road agents such as pedestrians, vehicles, and cyclists.
- Apply generative behavior models to planning, prediction, data generation, simulation, and related autonomy tasks.
- Research algorithms to improve generative-model performance and optimize latency, including alignment, controllability, scaling, distillation, mode recovery, and closed-loop reinforcement learning fine-tuning.
- Collaborate across autonomy teams to identify challenges, propose and prioritize solutions, and develop holistic approaches.
- Derive practical solutions and deploy them on the NuroBot.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with generative models.
- Subject matter expertise in areas such as scalable generative and diffusion models, reward/cost-model alignment, controllability, distillation, mode recovery, closed-loop reinforcement learning fine-tuning, or applications to autonomous driving and robotics.
- Experience with video generation, text-to-image generation, image in-painting/out-painting, or related areas is also welcome.
- Strong problem-solving and programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Demonstrated research publications at top conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, RSS, CoRL, or ICRA.
- A Ph.D. is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and team-oriented skills are expected.
