Responsibilities

Develop and deliver features, enhancements, bug fixes, and architectural improvements for the Nahimic and SteelSeries GG software platforms.
Build Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET and frameworks such as UWP, WinUI, and WPF.
Design and implement user interfaces with XAML and contribute to application stability, performance, maintainability, and automated testing.
Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and reduce technical debt through refactoring.
Collaborate with Firmware, Driver, DSP, QA, UX, and Product teams to deliver integrated user experiences.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving applications, firmware, drivers, audio technologies, and hardware.
Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, AI-assisted development tools, and engineering practices and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Provide feedback on upcoming hardware products and mentor and support other engineers.

At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
Strong experience with C# and .NET application development.
Experience developing Windows desktop applications with UWP, WinUI, WPF, or similar Windows application frameworks.
Understanding of software architecture and design patterns such as MVVM.
Experience designing and implementing user interfaces with XAML.
Experience using Git and GitHub for source control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
Experience writing unit and integration tests, with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams and work in an Agile environment.
Preferred experience with Windows audio technologies, APIs, multimedia application development, audio products, gaming peripherals, consumer electronics, ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevOps practices, device communication protocols, hardware integrations, C++, memory management, and Microsoft Store deployment.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, including evaluating and reviewing generated code for quality, maintainability, and security.
