Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deploy and customize AI research workflows at client sites.
- Rapidly prototype solutions that extend the platform for critical financial workflows.
- Identify technical gaps in the field and architect and implement capabilities that become core product features.
- Design complex integrations with client data infrastructure, Bloomberg, CapIQ, and proprietary trading systems.
- Scale the AI platform for client-specific use cases and solve performance challenges in production research environments.
- Rotate between forward-deployed engagements and core platform development.
- Own critical deployments and debug issues across the full stack.
- Engage with portfolio managers and own customer engagements end to end.
- Build vertical applications on top of the core platform and develop expertise in agentic tooling and technologies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience deploying complex systems in enterprise environments.
- Previous client-facing technical experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong full-stack development capabilities in Python or TypeScript, including distributed systems, data pipelines, and API development.
- Experience with enterprise and data integrations, including SSO/SCIM, RBAC, database integrations, and enterprise security requirements.
- Ability to present comfortably to C-level executives and technical teams.
- Willingness to travel regularly 30–50% for on-site client engagements from the NYC headquarters.
- Financial services experience or familiarity with research workflows is preferred.
- Experience with large-scale data processing, ETL pipelines, or analytics platforms is preferred.
- Rust development experience is preferred.
- Startup experience with end-to-end feature ownership is preferred.
