Responsibilities
- Research, track, and report on threat actors targeting AI labs and the technology sector.
- Build and maintain tooling and automated pipelines for operationalizing indicators of compromise.
- Develop and execute intelligence-driven threat hunts across various telemetry sources.
- Perform technical analysis of malware and attacker tooling to extract actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Detection Engineering and Incident Response to translate intelligence into actionable detection rules.
- Curate and prioritize inbound intelligence from various sources relevant to Anthropic's threat model.
- Contribute to threat models and risk assessments to inform security architecture.
- Establish and maintain external intelligence-sharing relationships.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber threat intelligence or threat hunting.
- Deep knowledge of nation-state or advanced criminal threat actors and their tactics.
- Strong engineering skills, particularly in Python, with experience in building automation and data pipelines.
- Comfortable performing malware and infrastructure analysis.
- Experience authoring detection logic and understanding detection durability.
- Ability to write clear and concise intelligence products.
- Existing network in the threat intelligence community with a track record of sharing.
