Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client contact and guide teams in successful software delivery.
- Lead software consulting and delivery across the full lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
- Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
- Write clean, reusable code and continue coding alongside developers using Python and other tools.
- Champion continuous delivery, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, and high-quality software practices.
- Collaborate with teammates on features, design concepts, interactive prototypes, and user experience specifications.
- Guide, coach, mentor, and support the growth of software development teams.
- Develop and execute technical visions that connect business needs with software requirements.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python, React.js, and FastAPI.
- Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous Integration.
- Knowledge of test-driven development, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, translate business needs into software requirements, and mentor less experienced peers.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
- Knowledge of Azure, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Interest in functional programming, event-driven architecture, platform engineering, or other approaches to continuous improvement.
