Responsibilities
- Build and release functionality for the core product across the frontend, CLI, API, billing, security, and integrations.
- Develop backend systems and developer tools using Go and frontend functionality using JavaScript.
- Work on data models and microservices through cross-team collaboration.
- Set technical direction for large projects and partner with engineering and product leaders.
- Improve system stability, performance, architecture, tools, and processes.
- Implement automation and continuous delivery while reducing technical debt and time to production.
- Mentor and coach engineers and foster a supportive, inclusive engineering environment.
Requirements
- Strong ability to write readable, testable, and efficient Go.
- Experience as a senior- or staff-level full-stack engineer building complex systems or developer tools.
- Ability to use the technology stack to deliver features, improve stability, and increase performance.
- Experience partnering with engineering and product leaders and setting technical direction for large projects.
- Ability to evaluate, strengthen, and document technical architecture, tools, and processes.
- Experience championing software quality, automation, continuous delivery, production speed, and technical debt reduction.
- Ability to mentor and coach engineers on system design, high-uncertainty environments, and problem-solving.
- React or another popular frontend framework is nice to have.
