Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, cloud-native applications.
- Translate business requirements and solution designs into high-quality software while contributing to architecture, solution planning, design discussions, and product roadmaps.
- Build automated testing frameworks, including Playwright end-to-end testing, and reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, optimize application performance and data flows, and document technical designs and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, subject matter experts, development teams, service providers, and vendors.
- Mentor developers and promote technical excellence, continuous learning, security, peer review, DevOps, and quality assurance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or two-year technical diploma; Computing Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 6 years of full-stack software development experience, preferably supporting the oil and gas industry or Gas Transmission Pipeline Commercial business.
- Demonstrated experience with C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Entity Framework, xUnit, REST APIs, and cloud-native application architectures.
- Experience with DevOps, Agile development, GitHub source control, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, unit testing, Playwright, and developer productivity tools.
- Understanding of Azure cloud and data technologies, including Azure Container Apps, Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, PaaS, data transformation, and application integration security.
- Strong collaboration, communication, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and technical leadership skills.
